Slightly off piste, but some in business community may be interested…
Took my car for first service yesterday at local Jaguar dealership (Wolverhampton) to be told there was no service plan attached to car that is only 12 months old.
I was staggered. After series of phone calls to Listers Solihull (where car purchased) it became apparent that no plan existed.
Previous new cars (Discoveries) both had three-year plans, this one did not, but what annoyed me most of all was lack of willingness on behalf of Listers to accept that it should have been a conversation at point of purchase.
I should also have been advised/asked when service booking was made via Jaguar call centre several weeks ago.
I would call it good customer service, but perhaps I am a little old fashioned…
